self-contained with attached bathroom & fully furnished with
exquisite antique furniture. Fully airconditioned, equipped with
television, fridge, microwave oven, electric kettle. Laundry &
kitchen facilities can be found in the common area. Under the
'old-fashioned' & 'traditional' exterior, you can still enjoy

Road is located within Singapore's
conservation landmark. It is recorded in the history
of Singapore's heritage, known as Blair
Plain District Standing in contrast to the
neighbouring new & modern high-rise developments in its low-rise
urban form, coupled with its narrow streets, architecturally
significant buildings & low traffic it provides residents with a
special ambience. |

Historical
Blair Plain District was
given conservation status on 25th October 1991 due to the early,
transitional, late and art deco shophouse expressions that can
be found there. And in that same tradition,
Spottiswoode Lodge has
been refurbished to its original splendor, a stylistic shophouse
& terrace house. With the skillful addition of a new block on
the rear courtyard that blends in with the old building. Adorned
with intricately craved swing doors, corbels, decorative air
vent panels & light fixtures complimenting the building's
character. |

well, the soft trickling sound from a running waterfall
surrounded by lush potted plants. A pond filled with lively and
brightly coloured Kois, the traditional belief is that they
ensure 'Fengshui' for good fortune, health & prosperity for all

A beautiful design of marble & tiles adorns the landing that
leads to the stairway. A slight touch of modernity, with the
clever use of wood and brass for the stairways, that adds a
distinctive flavor to the interior design that is ever so
soothing to all your senses. |
Our rooms are also at least twice the size of regular hotel rooms
and more like the executive suites.
Depending on availability, most suites have separate bed &
living rooms. Bed sizes come
in the choice of either queen size or two singles. Perfect for
singles or couples on a holiday trip or lengthy overseas assignment. |
